The smaller 'Parlor', where the "girls" used to wait for the cowboys, has skylights, an east facing window overlooking the patio area and a queen bed.
The interior room with original skylights is the 'Madam's Room’, a large room with an antique brass bed from a brothel in New Orleans.

Due to the limited number of rooms available, it is necessary for our guests to be responsible for the accommodations reserved. Payment will be charged 14 days in advance of your check-in . Those cancellations made less than 14 days before check-in will be charged the full amount of the reservation.
The care that has gone into faithfully restoring a 100 year old Victorian Romanesque building did require keeping some of the original elements that are not handicapped accessible nor safe for children under eight. To insure the comfort and safety of our guests, we do not permit smoking or pets in our rooms. Check-in time is between 4:00 and 8:00 p.m. only, or by prior special arrangement. Checkout time is 11:00 a.m.
All of the rooms have individually controlled air conditioning, ceiling fan, hair dryer, alarm clock radio, satellite cable TV and WI FI internet access. The common pantry has a refrigerator with complementary cold drinks, ice machine and fresh brewed coffee.
The large 'Big Bertha's Room' with two queen beds and original footed bathtub is now available for up to four persons and overlooks the historic downtown from the balcony.

The Red Garter is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and has a rich history as one of the most colorful Houses on what was known as "Saloon Row". A tour of the building and as much of the local history that you'd care to hear about is, of course, part of the fun in staying here.
Along with a parlor and eight cribs for the "soiled doves", the second floor once boasted a two-story outhouse off the back of the building for the cowboys and other guests. These days each of the four guestrooms has a private, en suite bathroom .
