Along with a parlor and eight cribs for the "soiled doves", the second floor once boasted a two-story outhouse off the back of the building for the cowboys and other guests. These days each of the four guestrooms has an ensuite private bathroom and the 'special treat' we offer our guests is the fresh baked continental-plus breakfast prepared each morning.

BEST GAL'S ROOM

Overlooking the depot for the historic Grand Canyon Railway and the surrounding ponderosa pine forest, the 'Best Gal's Room' ($160.00) offers a queen-sized bedroom and adjoining sitting room with a couch and parlor stove.

BIG BERTHA'S ROOM

The large 'Big Bertha's Room' with two queen beds and original footed bathtub ($160.00) is now available for up to four persons ($10.00 per additional person) and overlooks the historic downtown from the balcony.

THE MADAM'S ROOM

The interior room with original skylights is the 'Madam's Room' ($135.00), a large room with an original brass bed from New Orleans. The smaller 'Parlor' ($135.00) where the "girls" used to wait for the cowboys, has skylights, east facing window and queen bed.

All prices are for double occupancy. Reservations must be guaranteed by M/C, Visa, Discover or payment in advance. We have a ten day cancellation policy.

The Red Garter is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and has a rich history as one of the most colorful Houses on what was known as "Saloon Row". A tour of the building and as much of the local history that you'd care to hear about is, of course, part of the fun in staying here. The care that has gone into restoring this century-old building did require keeping some of the original elements that are neither handicapped accessible nor safe for children under eight (8) years of age. To insure the comfort and safety of our guests, we do not permit smoking or pets in our rooms.
